BOSS Corporation is seeking firefighters, EMTs, paramedics, nurses, and other experienced professionals to teach workplace safety training throughout the Chicagoland area. This is a flexible 1099 contractor position that allows you to maintain your current career while accepting teaching assignments based on your availability. Most instructors teach a 5-10 days per month, making this an excellent opportunity for professionals seeking supplemental income. What You'll Do Teach engaging, hands-on safety training classes at customer locations throughout the Chicagoland area.

& First Aid Fire Extinguisher Training Forklift / Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) Training Scissor Lift & Boom Lift (MEWP) Training OSHA Safety Training Lockout / Tagout (LOTO) Machine Safeguarding Emergency Response & Workplace Safety Topics Our instructors are expected to engage participants, share real-world experience, answer questions, and create a positive learning environment. This Opportunity Is Perfect For Firefighters Fire Prevention Personnel EMTs and Paramedics Nurses Safety Professionals Retired First Responders Experienced Trainers and Instructors Professionals Looking for Flexible Supplemental Income Qualifications Successful candidates typically possess: ✅ Strong communication and public speaking skills ✅ Professional appearance and demeanor ✅ Experience teaching, coaching, mentoring, or leading groups ✅ Safety, emergency response, healthcare, industrial, or construction experience ✅ Reliable transportation ✅ Ability to travel throughout the Chicagoland area ✅ Availability during normal weekday business hours Preferred Qualifications CPR/First Aid Instructor Certifications OSHA Training Experience Safety or EHS Experience Industrial or Construction Experience Previous Adult Education or Instructor Experience Spanish language skills Training and support are provided for qualified instructors. Flexible Scheduling This position is designed for working professionals. You choose when you're available to accept assignments. Most classes are scheduled Monday through Friday between 7:30 AM and 5:00 PM. Many of our instructors work full-time careers as firefighters, paramedics, nurses, safety professionals, and trainers while teaching classes on select days throughout the month.
