Job Description

Opportunity Summary As our Classroom and Clinical Instructor, you will teach didactic, laboratory, and clinical courses to young adult students for the nurse aide program. This is a full-time, onsite position. Employee Status. Work hours are Monday - Friday, 7:45 AM - 4:30 PM daily. Key Responsibilities Every day, you will setup your classroom or lab, prepare lessons, greet students, capture attendance, teach lessons, provide academic support and tutoring to students, and enter grades into an electronic portal. During clinical rotations, you will supervise students, offering guidance and feedback on performance. Success Factors To be successful in this role, you must be passionate about student success, evidence-based practice, and fostering inclusive, culturally competent nurse-aide education. Qualifications Current, unencumbered Indiana nursing license Minimum three (3) years of experience as a nurse, including long-term care Train-the-Trainer certification, or must obtain within 90 days of hire Valid driver's license and auto insurance Strong communication and organization skills Strong computer skills and demonstrated ability to learn new electronic systems Ability to pass our background screening process Who We Are Hardon Education is an accredited career college providing healthcare education, school nursing services, and nursing case management to support community health.
