Overview Are you looking for an opportunity to share your nursing knowledge and make a meaningful impact on future healthcare professionals? Allied Health Career Training is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our instructional team. This position focuses on teaching and supervising students in skills lab and clinical settings within our CNA program. Allied Health Career Training is experiencing significant growth, and we are expanding our instructional team to meet the needs of an increasing number of students entering the healthcare field. Join us in helping prepare the next generation of caregivers and healthcare professionals. This role is ideal for an LPN with a strong long-term care background who enjoys mentoring others, supporting student success, and helping future caregivers build confidence and competence. No prior teaching experience is required. Training and support are provided. Responsibilities Provide instruction and supervision during CNA skills labs and clinical experiences Demonstrate and evaluate required nursing assistant skills Provide coaching, guidance, and constructive feedback to students Maintain accurate attendance, competency, and clinical documentation Support a positive and professional learning environment Work independently while collaborating with Allied instructors and leadership Qualifications Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate learners and foster a positive learning environment. Energetic, engaging, and able to confidently lead groups of adult learners in both skills and clinical settings. Current Kansas LPN license in good standing (required) Minimum two years of experience supervising CNAs or nursing assistants (required) Long-term care experience required Strong clinical and communication skills Ability to work effectively with adult learners Must be comfortable actively supervising students in clinical settings, including walking the floor, observing performance, providing feedback, and supporting student learning in real time. Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. Professional, responsive, and committed to supporting student success and program excellence. Schedule This is a part-time position primarily evening and weekend hours working 20-30 hours a week. There may be an opportunity to pick up weekday hours as well. Pay $25.00-$28.00 per hour, based on experience.
