Job Summary:
The College of St. Scholastica is seeking to fill a baccalaureate faculty position preparing students for entry-level generalist practice. This is an eleven-month, tenure-track negotiable faculty position in the Department of Nursing with teaching responsibilities in the online hybrid post-baccalaureate nursing program at the College's St. Cloud campus. This position has online and on-campus teaching responsibilities, student advising, scholarship, and college and community service expectations. Candidates will collaborate, contribute to, and participate in fostering a culture of inclusion in support of college diversity goals. Key Results/Responsibilities Synchronous online (didactic), on-campus for skills/simulation, and clinical teaching Student advising, scholarship, and service expectations Effectively collaborate with teaching, program, and department teams Effectively use multiple technology platforms (Brightspace, ExamSoft, DegreeWorks, etc) Communicate and interact effectively with diverse students, faculty, and staff Required Qualifications Doctorate or MSN with ability to earn a doctorate within 12 months Active, unencumbered RN license in the state of Minnesota Professional nursing experience Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively in teams Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills Ability to learn and use multiple technology platforms Demonstrated cross-cultural communication skills and multicultural competency Demonstrated experience interacting effectively with diverse populations Preferred Qualifications Teaching experience #Ll-JG1
