Position Overview We are looking for a credentialed instructor to lead hands-on CNA skills training in a lab setting. The ideal candidate combines clinical knowledge with proven teaching ability and a passion for developing adult learners. This role is perfect for an experienced nurse educator or trainer who thrives in an interactive, skills-based learning environment. Key Responsibilities Deliver engaging, structured instruction in nursing assistant skills using approved curriculum Demonstrate clinical procedures and supervise student return demonstrations Evaluate and document student competency in accordance with state regulations Adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse learning styles and adult education needs Foster a supportive, professional, and inclusive classroom environment Provide timely, constructive feedback and coaching to students Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress, and skill validations Ensure lab equipment and training spaces meet safety and regulatory standards Collaborate with program leadership to continuously improve instructional quality Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and regulatory standards Required Qualifications Active RN or LPN license in Minnesota (in good standing) Minimum 3 years of nursing experience (long-term care preferred) Prior teaching, training, or classroom facilitation experience required Strong understanding of adult learning principles Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills Preferred Qualifications Experience teaching CNA or allied health programs Background in curriculum development or instructional design Experience with competency-based education and skills assessment Familiarity with state testing requirements for nursing assistants Schedule Flexible scheduling available MWF Schedule Preferred 5:30pm-9:30pm or 9:30am-1pm Evening and/or weekend availability may be required based on class needs What We Offer Competitive compensation based on experience and credentials Flexible work environment Opportunity to make a meaningful impact in healthcare education Supportive and collaborative team culture Ongoing professional development opportunities Why Join Us?
