Job Description

Description Adjunct clinical faculty in maternal child and pediatric nursing, spring semester 2023. Adjunct faculty will take students into maternal child and pediatric settings to provide clinical instruction. No supervisory responsibilities. Clinical courses are taught in a variety of area hospitals and community organizations. Individual may come to Misenheimer campus on select occasions to assist with simulations as an alternative to attending the clinical site. Qualifications Bachelor of science degree in nursing required, Will also consider an entry level master's degree. Master's degree preferred. Registered nurse with a minimum of two years in clinical practice and hold a current unrestricted license to practice as a registered nurse in North Carolina required. Must meet the qualifications for faculty required by the NC Board of Nursing (www.ncbon.org) within three years of employment. Nurse Educator Certification (CNE) preferred, but all qualified applicants will be considered. Preference is given to applicants with teaching experience. Documented experience and expertise in clinical nursing area relevant to course needs. Provide evidence of license, immunizations, HIPAA, OSHA, CPR or other clinical facility requirements. Valid NC driver's license.
