Div of Nursing & Health Professions Department Nursing and Health Professions Description Adjunct Faculty - Adult Gerontology, Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Track Rivier University invites applications for the position of Adjunct Faculty in our low-residency Adult Gerontology, Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Program. Reporting to the Dean of Nursing and Health Professions, the adjunct faculty member will prepare the graduate to practice and provide care to patient populations in the acute care environment, over the age of seventeen. Duties and Responsibilities Ability to engage in critical thinking and exercise independent judgment. Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage confidential information. Ability to collaborate with other faculty and staff and maintain collegial relations. Ability to communicate effectively in written and oral form, and Knowledge of and competence with a variety of computer applications including word-processing, online teaching and reporting platforms, as well as online calendaring and email.
