Div of Nursing & Health Professions Department Nursing and Health Professions Description Rivier University invites ongoing applications for the position of Clinical Undergraduate Level - Adjunct Faculty. Reporting to the Dean of Nursing and Health Professions, the Assistant Professor for Undergraduate Education, the Clinical Undergraduate Level - Adjunct Faculty instructor is responsible for providing instruction and support to the Undergraduate Nursing Program for the Nursing and Health Professions Division at Rivier University. Duties and Responsibilities The candidate must possess a keen interest and enthusiasm for engaging, teaching, and mentoring student teaching modalities at the undergraduate level. The candidate must possess strong clinical skills and a minimum of two years of clinical experience in one or more of the following areas: Medical-Surgical Nursing, Maternity Nursing, Pediatric Nursing, Mental Health Nursing, or Community Health Nursing. Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues both in the department and throughout the University community. Qualifications Graduate Degree in Nursing or enrolled in a graduate nursing program or BSN with two years experience in the nursing specialty. Doctoral preparation preferred, or in progress. Academic teaching experience preferred. Unencumbered NH RN license (or eligibility for licensure in NH). Unencumbered Massachusetts RN license (or eligibility for licensure in MA). Demonstrated ability in and commitment to teaching excellence in a broad range of undergraduate clinical and didactic courses, and Desire to mentor undergraduate students in their course work and career goals.
