The Workforce Development and Lifelong Learning Department of Middlesex College invites applications for part-time, non-credit instructors to teach the following course: General Nursing Skills

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

: The ability to teach 25 hours (5 days a week for 5 hours/day in person), which includes but not limited to the following subject areas: Personal hygiene; vital signs; activities of daily living; infection control Anatomy and Physiology Patient Safety Preparing student for industry certification as Patient Care Technician

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

: High school diploma or equivalent Current registration as a NJ Licensed Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse, or current certification as a Patient Care Technician Previous experience teaching adult learners Three (3) years of experience working in an in-patient environment Ability to teach in Edison, New Brunswick, or Perth Amboy

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's Degree Experience teaching in higher education
