Faculty at Mildred Elley demonstrate a strong commitment to continuous academic improvement, student success, and regulatory compliance. The successful candidate will bring clinical expertise, instructional ability, and a passion for nursing education to create an engaging and supportive learning environment for students. Teaching Schedule Day, Evening and/or Weekend classes Responsibilities Collaborate with the nursing education team to monitor student progress and performance Participate in Course Development & Assessment Demonstrate professional nursing leadership Model effective problem-solving and decision-making strategies Required Qualifications A master's degree in nursing from a program with institutional accreditation, or a Bachelor's degree seeking a master's degree in nursing. Active, unencumbered NY RN license Variety of experience in varied clinical areas, caring for patients across the lifespan (preferably 2 years) Current CPR Certification Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly, concisely, and accurately; friendly, persuasive speaking and writing style. Preferred Qualifications Previous teaching experience in nursing education Experience using educational technology Demonstrated leadership ability in clinical and academic settings
