Job Description:

Onondaga Community College invites applications for potential Nursing part-time temporary/hourly positions in an ACEN accredited Associate Degree Nursing program. Help us grow the Nursing Leaders of tomorrow!

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

Procedure evaluator Evaluate students in skills testing. Review teaching points, strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement. Assists with equipment and lab maintenance, safety, and cleanliness. Communicate effectively with the lab coordinator to learn and understand all curriculum policies and rules for testing in the lab.

Requirements:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

An earned Master's degree in nursing from an accredited college, university or foreign equivalency Current NYS RN registration and CPR certification. Three (3) years current acute care experience in the field. Must be able to assist students with bedside nursing care and have broad experience with current and evolving health technology. Advanced computer skills are also required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bilingual in English and Spanish. English and another language will be considered.

Additional Information:

This is a part-time hourly position. Rate of pay is $ 63.54/hour. There are no additional benefits associated with this position.
