Job Description
Our instructors work to change the world, one life at a time, by helping students reach their dreams through education. The MCCC is looking for a skilled, passionate Practical Nursing Faculty Position ready to share their expertise and industry knowledge with the next generation of medical professionals. The qualified candidate teaches, mentors, and evaluates nursing students in both classroom and clinical settings to prepare them for licensure as Practical Nurses (LPN's). The passionate educator will recruit support from business and industry to develop job placement opportunities for graduates.
STARTING DATE
October 5, 2026
SALARY:
Appropriate placement on the Adult Education Salary Schedule, commensurate with experience and education, ranging from $70,000.00 to $90,000.00 annually.
REPORTS TO
Director of Nursing Education or Designee

WORK-WEEK/YEAR
Full-time 260 days per year
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Current valid Ohio Registered Nurse (RN) license. Bachelor of Science in Nursing BSN. Minimum of two years of recent clinical experience. BLS certified. Ability to integrate technology into instruction. Demonstrated ability to work on a team. Effective written and oral communication skills. Ability to build rapport with many stakeholders. Build and maintain collaborative partnerships with clinical agencies. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills. Desire to motivate and assist young people in an educational setting. Willingness to work with students of varying ability levels. Assist with student recruitment, selection, retention, and program promotion. Physically able to meet the demands of specific nursing responsibilities. Ability to pass a criminal background check.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS
A master's degree. Previous nursing education or clinical instruction experience. Experience with simulation-based education. Curriculum development and assessment experience. Familiarity with the Ohio Board of Nursing regulations for practical nursing education.
