Job Description
The Nursing Department at Misericordia University is currently accepting applications for full-time (10 month) non-tenure track faculty position for our Dallas, PA campus beginning January, 2025. This position may include didactic, lab and/or clinical teaching in undergraduate and/or graduate programs. This is not a remote position; an on-campus presence is required.

Misericordia University, founded in 1924 by the Sisters of Mercy, is located adjacent to the Pocono Mountains region of Northeastern Pennsylvania, approximately two hours from New York city and Philadelphia. Qualifications:
A Masters degree in nursing is required, doctorate strongly preferred.Other qualifications include:
Current unencumbered Pennsylvania RN licenseCRNP license with current national board certification in area of practicePost-secondary teaching experience in nursingExperience overseeing students in clinical practice settingsExperience teaching nursing students in lab and/or simulation preferredThe Misericordia University Nursing Departments (undergraduate and graduate) are fully accredited by CCNE. Undergraduate programs include a traditional BS, Part-time evening BSN, and ABSN. Graduate programs include preparation for Family Individual Across the Life Span Nurse Practitioners and Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioners via the MSN, BSN-DNP or Post-Masters Certificate.
