Position Summary:

The Department of Nursing in the School of Science, Engineering & Health at Messiah University invites applications for a faculty position in Nursing beginning August 1, 2027.

Responsibilities:

Primary responsibilities may include teaching undergraduate nursing courses in medical-surgical nursing, pathophysiology, health assessment, foundations, pharmacology, and/or pediatrics. Other specialty areas may also be considered. Oversight of students in the clinical setting and simulation lab will be included.

Qualifications:

Qualifications:

Must have a graduate degree in nursing. Minimum of Master of Science degree in nursing with appropriate clinical practice certifications; doctoral degree in nursing preferred (PhD or DNP) or current enrollment in doctoral study. Graduate preparation in Nursing Education is preferred, with didactic and clinical teaching experience. Candidate should be committed to excellence in teaching in a Christian liberal arts setting. Must have a current, valid professional nursing license in Pennsylvania, or approved multi-state license.
