A Nursing Instructor or Professor teaches nursing students with a combination of classroom instruction and clinical training. Teaches academic subjects needed as the foundation for nursing, such as anatomy and chemistry, and also job skills required for direct patient care. Teaches at a college or in a hospital or other clinical setting.
Temporary, part-time Job Summary/Basic Function The Wehrheim School of Nursing is accepting applications for a temporary, part-time instructor responsible for teaching undergraduate (RN-BSN) and graduate (MSN and DNP) courses with an academic workload of 9 credit hours, or less, per semester, and no more than three preparations per semester. Courses are taught face-to-face and in fully online modalities. The purpose of this posting is to generate a pool of qualified faculty. Applications submitted will be reviewed on an as needed basis based on enrollment. Anyone meeting the qualifications may be contacted for an interview and potentially hired when a need exists. In the event that you are interviewed but not immediately hired, your application will remain in the department's pool of qualified faculty.
