JOB SUMMARY
Substitute Instructors are responsible for delivering quality instruction in the field of practical nursing using course materials and pre-established lesson plans.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Demonstrates a commitment to student success. Teaches skills appropriate to the occupational area that will prepare students to become an economic asset. Guides students in selection, perception, and performance of suitable learning activities. Starts and ends class at designated time. Supervises student conduct to ensure that the potentially classrooms and labs provide an orderly environment conducive to productivity. Accepts responsibility for equipment, tools, and supplies assigned to classroom. Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
Graduation from an approved school of professional nursing. Current RN license (must obtain licensure in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania before start date).
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
2-4 years of nursing education experience, preferred. 3-5 years of clinical nursing experience, preferred. Baccalaureate degree in nursing, preferred. If no Baccalaureate degree, must give evidence of continuing academic preparation.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, hours vary based on daytime or evening shift to be worked. Must work a minimum of one time every six weeks. Must be willing to go to all clinical sites. Salary
- : $49.
81 per hour
