Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and experienced Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) Instructor to join our LVN education team. In this role, you will leverage your clinical expertise and teaching skills to prepare aspiring nursing professionals for success in diverse healthcare settings. Your responsibilities will include delivering engaging instruction, developing comprehensive curricula, and ensuring compliance with educational standards. Responsibilities Design, develop, and update curriculum content aligned with current LVN practices, educational regulations, and accreditation standards Supervise clinical practice sessions in teaching hospitals or healthcare facilities, ensuring students gain hands-on experience in patient care, medical terminology, and care plan development Provide mentorship and supervision to students working with diverse populations, including pediatric, adult, senior care, ICU, and primary care patients Evaluate student performance through documentation review, skills assessments, and clinical evaluations; provide constructive feedback for improvement Maintain accurate records of student progress, clinical hours, and compliance documentation in accordance with institutional policies Stay current with healthcare regulations, educational compliance standards, and advances in nursing practice to ensure high-quality instruction Skills Proven supervising experience in clinical or educational settings within healthcare or nursing programs Ability to teach complex medical terminology and utilize teaching simulation methods effectively Excellent understanding of educational compliance regulations governing healthcare training programs Skilled in clinical instruction across various specialties including acute care, ICU, pediatrics, primary care, and senior care Strong documentation review skills for student assessments and clinical records; familiarity with learning technology tools.
