Applications will be accepted into the School of Nursing Adjunct Clinical Faculty (Eastern Campus-St. Clairsville) pool to fill positions as needs arise. This is a POOL posting accepting applications on a rolling basis for adjunct clinical positions that become available beginning summer semester 2025. These positions will have responsibilities that require the applicant to be on campus in St. Clairsville, OH, or on-site at clinical placement facilities located in: Barnesville, OH, Bellaire, OH, Belmont, OH, Cambridge, OH, Martins Ferry, OH, Shadyside, OH, Steubenville, OH, St. Clairsville, OH, Glen Dale, WV or Wheeling, WV. These positions are NOT remote teaching positions, and multiple positions may be available. 20162813F Job Description The Ohio University School of Nursing Eastern Campus seeks adjunct clinical focus faculty candidates with an emphasis on teaching clinical competencies with bachelor's degree nursing students. These positions are term positions and will be filled as needs arise for the Eastern campus. Faculty are expected to plan, implement, and evaluate instruction for student clinical and simulation lab experiences. These individuals will provide instruction, supervision, guidance and counsel to nursing students in relation to BSN program objectives and includes (1) planning student learning experiences; (2) evaluating student progress; (3) recording and reporting as required by the School of Nursing. Clinical sites are located in the following areas: Barnesville, OH Bellaire, OH Belmont, OH Cambridge, OH Martins Ferry, OH Shadyside, OH Steubenville, OH St. Clairsville, OH Glen Dale, WV Wheeling, WV Seeking experience in: Obstetrics Pediatrics Mental Health Medical Surgical The need for these positions is undetermined currently and is dependent on operational need including enrollment and staffing. If a need arises, the department will select candidates from this posting. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Nursing by the time of appointment. At least two (2) years (24 months full time equivalency) of clinical experience in the United States is required. A current unrestricted Ohio Registered Nurse (RN) license or the eligibility to obtain an unrestricted Ohio Registered Nurse (RN) license is required. Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in Nursing by the time of appointment.
Department ESTRN Nursing Pay Rate:
