Job description:
Day or Night Shift Hours are 12 hour shifts Friday, Saturday, and Sunday or option of Saturday, Sunday, Monday. 7am to 7pm or 7pm to 7am. Free individual insurance for nurses with no waiting period! 2k Sign on bonus! Part time or full time available. Extra Baylor weekend pay incentive included!! The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse is responsible for administering medications and treatments to residents in accordance with physician orders and state and federal regulations. This role is an essential member of the interdisciplinary care team, ensuring the highest quality of care for residents in a skilled nursing facility.Key Responsibilities:
Medication Administration:
Accurately administer prescribed medications and treatments to residents. Document medication administration and resident response per facility policy.Resident Care:
Assist with assessments and ongoing monitoring of residents' health conditions. Provide basic nursing care (e.g., wound care, vital signs, catheter care). Report changes in resident conditions to the physician.Documentation and Compliance:
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records (EHR). Follow all regulations related to medication handling, storage, and administration. Participate in care plan meetings and contribute to resident care planning.Team Collaboration:
Communicate effectively with residents, families, and members of the healthcare team. Provide leadership and guidance to Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs). Participate in shift change reports and staff meetings.Safety and Infection Control:
Adhere to infection control protocols and standard precautions.Job Type:
