$32.65-$42.85 per hour (based on experience) $15,000 Sign-On Bonus Full-Time Nursing Leadership Opportunity Aspire Physical Recovery Center at Hoover is seeking an experienced and motivated Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager to join our nursing leadership team. As an RN Unit Manager , you'll provide clinical leadership for your assigned unit while supporting nurses and CNAs in delivering exceptional resident care. This role is ideal for an RN who enjoys leading a team, solving problems, developing staff, and remaining actively involved in clinical care. RN Unit Manager Responsibilities Assists in maintaining resident care standards by supervising and directing activities of subordinate nurses engaged in quality assurance, infection control, and utilization review activities. Receives physicians' instructions regarding resident care and ensures that orders are transmitted to other units as needed. Oversees delegation of nursing and other therapeutic procedures to other level professionals and paraprofessional associates. Makes regular patient rounds to observe and assess residents' physical conditions and behaviors, evaluates the quality of care provided, and ensures proper documentation of treatment and nursing observations. Qualifications Current Alabama Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing - REQUIRED. Current CPR/BLS certification. Previous nursing experience required. Unit Manager, Nurse Manager, Charge Nurse, Nursing Supervisor, or other nursing leadership experience preferred. Skilled nursing, rehabilitation, long-term care, post-acute care, or geriatric nursing experience preferred. Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills. Excellent leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to effectively supervise, coach, and develop nursing staff. Knowledge of clinical documentation, care planning, and regulatory requirements. Dependable, professional, and committed to exceptional resident care.
