3:00 PM-11:00 PM Join Our Leadership Team Aspire Physical Recovery Center of West Alabama is seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) Charge Nurse to lead our evening nursing team on a 7 On / 7 Off schedule . This leadership role offers the opportunity to provide exceptional resident care while mentoring fellow nurses and Certified Nursing Assistants in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation environment. Registered Nurse (RN) - Charge Nurse Responsibilities Lead and supervise the nursing team during the evening shift. Provide direct nursing care in a skilled nursing, rehabilitation, and long-term care setting. Assess, monitor, and document changes in resident conditions. Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions according to physician orders. Develop, implement, and update individualized resident care plans. Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, therapists, and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals. Supervise, mentor, and support Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs). Respond promptly to changes in resident condition and provide sound clinical leadership. Ensure accurate electronic nursing documentation and regulatory compliance. Promote resident safety, infection prevention, and quality improvement initiatives. Qualifications Current Alabama Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing. Current CPR/BLS certification. Previous Charge Nurse or nursing leadership experience preferred. Experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, long-term care, post-acute care, or geriatric nursing preferred. Strong leadership, communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills.
