Glen Haven Health & Rehabilitation is seeking an experienced and motivated Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager to join our nursing leadership team. This position is ideal for an RN who enjoys leading and mentoring nursing staff, overseeing daily clinical operations, and ensuring residents receive quality, compassionate care. Responsibilities Provide clinical leadership and oversight for an assigned nursing unit. Supervise, support, and mentor RNs, LPNs, and CNAs. Conduct clinical rounds and monitor resident conditions and quality of care. Coordinate care with physicians, therapy, pharmacy, and the interdisciplinary team. Review nursing documentation, care plans, and physician orders. Address clinical concerns and changes in resident condition. Support staff development, infection prevention, quality improvement, and regulatory compliance. Qualifications Current Alabama Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing - REQUIRED. Current CPR/BLS certification. Previous nursing experience required. Unit Manager, Charge Nurse, Nursing Supervisor, or other nursing leadership experience preferred. Skilled nursing, rehabilitation, long-term care, or post-acute care experience preferred. Strong clinical judgment, leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to effectively lead and support a nursing team.
