Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as a Charge Nurse within our healthcare facility. Administer medications, including IV infusions, injections, and other treatments in accordance with physician orders and safety protocols. Ensure accurate documentation of patient care activities using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems such as Epic or Cerner while maintaining strict adherence to HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams—including physicians, therapists, and social workers—to coordinate comprehensive patient care plans. Oversee infection control practices, aseptic techniques, and safety procedures to uphold regulatory compliance and promote a safe environment. Skills Proven experience in diverse clinical settings including hospital medicine, long-term care facilities, assisted living communities, or skilled nursing facilities. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, and diagnostic evaluation methods relevant to acute and chronic conditions. Expertise in managing complex cases involving Alzheimer's care, memory care, behavioral health issues, or infectious disease management. Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or Athenahealth for accurate medical documentation and data management. Skilled in performing physical examinations, venipuncture (phlebotomy), catheterization, tube feeding administration, and basic life support (BLS). Experience working with geriatric patients or individuals with disabilities requiring specialized care such as hospice or palliative services. Ability to communicate effectively with patients' families and multidisciplinary teams while demonstrating compassion and professionalism.
