Summary As a Supervisor Support Nurse, you will oversee nursing staff and ensure high-quality patient care within the healthcare facility. Reporting to the Nurse Manager, your role involves utilizing core skills such as management, IV insertion, and EMR systems to enhance operational efficiency. Your premium skills in critical care and team management will be essential in fostering a collaborative environment. Additionally, relevant skills in health coaching and specimen collection will support comprehensive patient care. Responsibilities Oversee daily nursing operations and ensure high-quality patient care is delivered consistently. Manage and supervise nursing staff, providing guidance and support in clinical tasks. Implement and monitor adherence to nursing protocols and procedures. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes and streamline workflows. Maintain accurate patient records using EMR and EHR systems, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. Conduct training and development sessions for nursing staff to improve skills and knowledge. Qualifications Proven experience in nurse management and team management Strong skills in patient care and basic life support Proficient in catheterization and IV insertion Familiarity with EMR and EHR systems, including Epic and Cerner Critical care experience and knowledge of physiology Background in long-term care, assisted living, or hospital settings
