Saturday - Sunday | 7am - 11pm Job Summary Katherine's Place at Wedington is seeking a dedicated Charge Nurse (LPN or RN) to provide direct nursing care to residents and oversee the day-to-day activities of nursing assistants. $5,000 sign on bonus paid out in 6 months, $3.00 shift differential. Key Responsibilities Supervise and lead nursing staff during assigned shifts, ensuring compliance with facility policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Coordinate and oversee resident care, including admissions, transfers, discharges, physician orders, treatments, medication administration, and care plan implementation. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, including charting, assessments, physician orders, and incident reports. Monitor resident conditions, communicate changes to physicians and family members, and ensure appropriate follow-up care. Support staff development through coaching, training, and guidance while promoting a collaborative team environment. Promote resident rights, privacy, safety, infection control, and quality care standards at all times. Qualifications Current, unrestricted LPN or RN license in the State of Arkansas. Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and critical-thinking skills. Knowledge of state and federal healthcare regulations, medication administration, infection control practices, and resident rights. Ability to work effectively with residents, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members. Reliable transportation to Fayetteville, AR. Ability to pass a background check and provide valid I-9 documentation.
