Charge Nurse

Overview We are seeking an experienced and motivated Charge Nurse (RN) to join our Long-Term Acute Care Hospital (LTACH) team. The Charge Nurse is responsible for overseeing daily nursing operations, coordinating patient care, and supporting clinical staff in a high-acuity environment. This leadership role ensures the delivery of safe, high-quality patient care while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. Duties Provide leadership and supervision to nursing staff during assigned shift Coordinate patient care activities and ensure appropriate staffing assignments Serve as a clinical resource for complex patient care situations Monitor patient outcomes and ensure adherence to clinical standards and protocols Collaborate with physicians, case management, respiratory therapy, and interdisciplinary teams Assist with admissions, discharges, and patient flow Ensure accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record Promote a positive team environment and support staff development Address and escalate patient, family, or staff concerns as needed Maintain compliance with all hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements Lead infection control initiatives, discharge planning, and patient education to promote recovery and well-being. Experience Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arkansas Minimum 3 years of nursing experience required Critical care, ICU, step-down, or LTACH experience strongly preferred Prior leadership or charge nurse experience preferred Current BLS and ACLS certification required Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills

Pay:

$40.00 - $50.00 per hour
