The Shift Manager ensures the delivery of quality patient care on all shifts. This position ensures appropriate resource utilization and allocation throughout the nursing departments on off shifts, weekends, and holidays. Further, they facilitate the growth and development of staff, assist with appropriate delegation and priority setting, act as resources to nursing staff, demonstrate positive interpersonal relationships, work collaboratively with the Clinical Managers to assure consistent implementation of policies, and demonstrate personal and professional accountability while supporting the mission and vision of Jefferson Regional.

Shift Manager Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent required. Associate Degree in Nursing required.

Bachelors Degree in Nursing preferred.

Graduate of an accredited nursing programBLS/CPR required upon hire or prior to patient care.

ACLS required within 6 months of hire.

PALS preferred.

Current Arkansas Registered Nurse License.

This is a safety sensitive position.

Preferred Requirements:

Previous experience as shift manager, department manager, or patient care coordinator1 year of experience in supervision preferredProficiency in data management and analysisProficiency in electronic documentation
