Job Description

1.

Education:

Graduate of an accredited college or university with at least a master s degree in a behavioral science discipline (preferably independently licensed to practice in Arkansas). 2.

Training and Experience:

Two to five years of clinical experience with expertise in clinical area. Demonstrated leadership abilities and good communication skills. Certification in specialty desirable. 3.

Job Knowledge:

Ability to provide leadership to entire team to establish process for providing care/services that meets the mission, vision, and values of area of service. Ability to work independently as well as a team member with other support staff, executive staff, and physicians to accomplish needs of each unit. 4.

DESCRIPTION

The Clinical Supervisor of Outpatient Behavioral Health Services is responsible for assisting the Director and Office Manager in the maintenance of the overall operation of Outpatient Behavioral Health Services with primary attention to the clinical excellence and growth of the service line.

Included in these responsibilities are:
  • Clinical oversight of the development and maintenance of high quality treatment services.
  • Assisting in the development and operationalization of the Interdisciplinary Team concept
  • Assist in community relations and referral activities.
  • Assist with strategic planning and development.
  • Assist with fiscal responsibility.
  • Monitor services performance improvement, quality, outcomes, and satisfaction.
  • May maintain a caseload in conjunction with clinical leadership responsibilities.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Maintains good physical and emotional well-being. Job responsibilities may require a considerable amount of physical work. The individual will be required to assist with lifting and moving patients, pushing of carts, wheelchairs, and other equipment; and lifting or pushing of up to 50 pounds. The individual must also be able to maneuver throughout the halls, stairways, and patient rooms in response to hospital emergencies if applicable. Interpretation of environmental input requires visual and auditory skills. A significant amount of writing and computer entry is required. Requires availability all shifts.
