Job Description

U.S. Renal Care seeks a Dialysis Registered Charge Nurse to lead safe, high-quality hemodialysis care for patients with chronic kidney disease. You will coordinate patient treatments, oversee unit workflow, delegate tasks to dialysis staff, and ensure adherence to clinical protocols and regulatory standards. Responsibilities include patient assessment, treatment planning, monitoring during dialysis, managing complications, documenting care, educating patients and families, and collaborating with nephrologists and the interdisciplinary team while supporting a compassionate, patient-first culture. Responsibilities Lead and coordinate daily dialysis unit workflow and staffing Perform patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans Oversee hemodialysis treatments and monitor patient responses Manage vascular access, medications, and dialysis-related complications Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation in EMR systems Maintain compliance with infection control, safety, and regulatory standards Provide education to patients and families on kidney disease and dialysis Collaborate with nephrologists and the interdisciplinary care team Coach, support, and delegate tasks to dialysis nurses and technicians Contribute to a patient-first, compassionate, and team-focused culture Required Skills Hemodialysis treatment management Charge nurse leadership Acute and chronic kidney disease care Patient assessment and care planning Vascular access management IV medication administration Electronic medical record documentation Infection control and safety protocols Staff coordination and delegation Patient and family education
