Position Overview:

As a Unit Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of your assigned unit. You will be responsible for overseeing compliance, conducting audits, managing wound care, coordinating admissions, and providing vital support to the Director of Nursing (DON) and nursing staff.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the nursing unit, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and facility policies. Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to best practices and regulatory standards. Manage wound care for residents, ensuring timely and effective treatment. Coordinate resident admissions, including assessments and care planning. Provide support to the DON and nursing staff, assisting with various administrative and clinical tasks as needed. Ensure high-quality care and services are provided to residents, addressing any concerns or issues promptly. Mentor and guide nursing staff, promoting professional development and a positive work environment.

Schedule:

Monday - Friday, with flexibility to cover shifts as needed.

Requirements:

Valid RN or LPN license in the state of Arizona. Proven experience in a nursing leadership role, preferably in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility. Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance standards. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
