We are looking for a candidate that has the ability to help coach our care team to success while delivering an excellence of care standards for our residents. Must hold a valid LPN or RN license in the state of Arizona Competive salary based on Skill & Experience managing a Care team
Responsibilities:
Provide supervision as Clinical Care Department Manager Manages medication administration within our EMR system, order clarification, and follow through on medication delivery inventory procedures Meet with Resident Families regarding care concerns and solutions Responsible for the management of the caregiver schedule, employee accountability, and overtime regulation. Plan and coordinate assessment and service plans as required Work collaboratively with physicians and other health care partners to implement appropriate care initiatives Maintain health care inventory supply within budget guidelines. Maintain a clean environment to ensure patient safety through infection control protocols Provide Training and guidance to the care managers and care staff Follow and guide care staff healthcare policies and procedures Work closely with the General Manager to initiate the quality of care for each resident Manage survey readiness for care and work with the surveyor during surveys Assess incoming residents for level of care placement Chart set up and follow up on resident care Work Flexible hours as needed to meet resident care needsQualifications:
3+ years of supervisory and leadership 2+ years previous experience in an Assisted Living & Memory Care Setting or Skilled Nursing setting 2+ years of training experience Medications, ADLs, care practices and proper body mechanics. Must have at least 1 year of experience in Behavioral Care Must understand and be a novice in providing and training resident's ADLs cares. Proficient in Medication Administration and Records Must be able to utilize an EMR system to access charts (Point Click Care experience a PLUS!) Knowledge of ALTCS and required documentation to determine level of care payment Strong supervisory qualities Strong organizational skills Excellent written and verbal communications skills Must hold a valid Fingerprint card TB Clearance Must have basic Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills Must hold a valid LPN or RN license in theState of Arizona Job Type:
