🏥 The Emergency Nursing Manager will oversee emergency services at a small, community-focused acute care hospital serving patients across the lifespan. The facility provides emergency, medical, surgical, rehabilitation, behavioral health, primary care, orthopedic, pain management, wound care, and occupational health services. The emergency department supports a diverse patient population while maintaining individualized care and close collaboration across disciplines. The RN Manager of Emergency Services will help preserve the responsive, personal environment that distinguishes community hospital nursing.

Reporting to the RN Director of Emergency Services, the Emergency Nurse Manager will receive support from friendly nurses, experienced physicians, hospitalists, clinical managers, and a diverse team of healthcare professionals. Responsibilities include staffing, recruitment, employee development, performance evaluation, budgeting, regulatory compliance, quality monitoring, and continuous improvement planning. The Emergency Services Nurse Leader will guide evidence-based nursing practice, evaluate patient care plans, and maintain safe operations around the clock while periodically supporting direct patient care across day and night shifts. Qualified candidates will have at least five years of acute care experience, and prior nursing leadership experience, with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
