Job Description

Registered Nurse (RN) - Overnight Clinical Supervisor $42-$50/hr (DOE) Full-Time | Overnight | 10-Hour Shifts Sleep Medicine | Training Provided Looking for a unique RN opportunity in a calm, structured clinical environment? Jiva Health is hiring Registered Nurses to join our Sleep Medicine team as Overnight Clinical Supervisors. This is a unique nursing opportunity in a lower-acuity overnight setting where patients are primarily sleeping while undergoing scheduled diagnostic sleep studies. No prior Sleep Medicine experience is required. We provide comprehensive training. What Makes This Role Different? Our patients arrive in the evening for scheduled sleep studies and typically remain asleep throughout the night while being monitored by trained Sleep Technologists. As the RN Clinical Supervisor, you will not carry a traditional bedside patient assignment. Instead, you will serve as the overnight clinical lead — providing clinical oversight, supporting the Sleep Technologists when needed, and helping ensure patient safety throughout the night. The environment is generally quiet, structured, and low-acuity, with significant periods of monitoring between clinical needs. This can be a great opportunity for both experienced nurses and newer RNs interested in developing experience within Sleep Medicine. What You'll Do Serve as the overnight RN clinical lead for the Sleep Center Provide clinical oversight and support to Sleep Technologists Help maintain a safe environment for patients undergoing sleep studies Be available to assess and respond to clinical concerns when necessary Respond appropriately in the uncommon event of a medical emergency Support established clinical, safety, and documentation protocols Communicate relevant clinical or operational concerns to Sleep Medicine leadership Complete specialized Sleep Medicine training provided by Jiva Health A Different Kind of Overnight Nursing This is not a traditional hospital nursing assignment. You will not be responsible for managing a typical acute-care patient load. Patients are primarily sleeping while our Sleep Technologists perform and monitor their scheduled studies. The RN's primary role is to provide clinical oversight, patient-safety support, and an appropriate clinical response should a medical concern arise. No Sleep Medicine Experience? That's Okay. We'll train you. Selected RNs will complete approximately 7 weeks of specialized training covering Sleep Medicine, sleep studies, patient monitoring, equipment, PAP therapy, and Sleep Center procedures. Whether you're an experienced RN or early in your nursing career, we'll provide the specialized training needed to succeed in the role. Typical Schedule Approximately 8:00 PM - 6:00 AM 10-hour overnight shifts. Scheduling may vary slightly based on patient volume and Sleep Center needs.
