Job Description

Job Summary Are you a compassionate, leadership-minded Registered Nurse looking to make a meaningful impact during the overnight hours? Vintage Faire Nursing and Rehab is seeking a dedicated NOC Shift RN Supervisor to lead our clinical team in our 99-bed skilled nursing facility . In this role, you will be the clinical compass of the facility overnight, safeguarding resident care, directing nursing staff, and ensuring absolute regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities Clinical Leadership:
Oversee and direct all nursing staff (LVNs, CNAs) during the NOC shift, assigning duties, monitoring performance, and fostering a collaborative team environment.
Resident Care & Safety:
Conduct clinical rounding to monitor patient care, evaluate changing resident conditions, and handle emergencies with swift, decisive clinical judgment.
Medication & Treatment Management:
Oversee or assist with complex medication administration, IV therapies, and treatments as required by resident care plans.
Admissions & Discharges:
Coordinate and manage overnight admissions, transfers, and discharges to ensure a seamless transition of care.
Documentation & Compliance:
Ensure all overnight clinical charting, incident reports, and care plans are accurately completed in alignment with state, federal, and facility guidelines.
Communication Link:
Act as the primary point of contact for physicians, families, and the Director of Nursing (DON) regarding any critical changes in resident status overnight.
Qualifications & Requirements License:
Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of
California Education:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Experience:
Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility. Previous supervisory or charge nurse experience is highly preferred.
Certifications:
Current Basic Life Support ( BLS/CPR ) certification.
Skills:
Strong leadership, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills; proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) software (e.g., PointClickCare).
Physical Demands:
Ability to lift, position, and move residents as necessary.
Pay:
$46.00 - $50.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
