  • 229,000/year Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Assistant Nurse Manager
  • Operating Room (OR) to support clinical operations, nursing staff, and high-quality patient care in a 24/7 hospital environment.
This role focuses on clinical leadership, staff supervision, patient safety, regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, and continuous quality improvement. Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily nursing and patient care activities within the assigned clinical area. Provide leadership, coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback to nursing staff. Support staffing, patient placement, resource allocation, and operational planning. Ensure delivery of safe, high-quality, and standardized patient care. Maintain compliance with the California Nursing Practice Act, The Joint Commission (TJC), and federal, state, and local regulations . Monitor clinical quality, safety, productivity, utilization, and operational performance. Support quality improvement, risk management, emergency preparedness, and regulatory readiness initiatives. Collaborate with physicians, nursing teams, and other healthcare professionals to improve patient outcomes. Oversee appropriate utilization and maintenance of clinical equipment, supplies, and medications. Minimum Qualifications Registered Nurse (RN) License
  • California , required at hire.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, required at hire. Minimum 2 years of patient care delivery experience . Minimum 1 year of leadership experience , with or without direct reports. Associate degree or higher in Nursing, Healthcare, Business, or a related field , with at least 2 years of relevant experience ; OR at least 3 years of relevant clinical healthcare/business operations experience .
Preferred Profile:
Experienced RN with strong Operating Room (OR), clinical leadership, hospital operations, patient safety, staff supervision, and regulatory compliance experience.
