Job Description

HealthONE, a leading Denver healthcare provider, is seeking a Clinical Nurse Coordinator for its Medical Acute Care unit. In this role, you will coordinate and support high-quality nursing care for adult patients with complex medical conditions. Responsibilities include collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary teams, overseeing workflow and staffing, mentoring bedside nurses, and ensuring adherence to evidence-based practices and safety standards. You will participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient education while fostering HealthONE's culture of excellence, compassion, and teamwork. Responsibilities Coordinate and oversee nursing care for patients on the medical acute care unit Support and guide bedside nurses in implementing care plans and best practices Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes Monitor patient status, escalate concerns, and ensure timely interventions Assist with staff scheduling, assignments, and workflow optimization Ensure adherence to clinical protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements Precept, mentor, and educate nursing staff on clinical skills and policies Participate in quality improvement, data tracking, and performance initiatives Communicate with patients and families, providing education and support Contribute to a culture of compassion, teamwork, and patient-centered care Required Skills Acute care nursing Patient assessment and triage Care coordination Clinical leadership Electronic health records (EHR) Medication administration and reconciliation IV therapy and infusion management Telemetry and vital sign monitoring Quality improvement and patient safety Interdisciplinary team collaboration
