Job Description

As an RN Clinical Nurse Coordinator in Surgical Reconstruction at HealthONE, you will coordinate and deliver specialized perioperative and post-operative nursing care for complex surgical patients. This role combines direct patient care with leadership responsibilities, including mentoring staff, optimizing workflows, and supporting quality and safety initiatives. Working in a collaborative, technology-forward environment, you'll partner with surgeons and interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes while advancing your own professional practice and leadership skills. Responsibilities Coordinate and oversee surgical reconstruction nursing care for assigned patients. Assist surgeons and interdisciplinary teams before, during, and after procedures. Develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans aligned with best practices. Monitor patient status, administer medications, and manage post-op recovery. Lead, mentor, and support RN and support staff on the surgical unit. Ensure compliance with safety, infection control, and documentation standards. Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and ancillary teams to optimize outcomes. Educate patients and families on procedures, recovery, and discharge plans. Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives. Support onboarding and ongoing training of clinical staff.
