Job Description

HealthONE seeks an RN Clinical Nurse Coordinator for our Stepdown ICU in Denver. In this leadership-focused bedside role, you will coordinate and deliver high-acuity patient care, guiding a team of nurses to ensure safe, efficient workflows. Responsibilities include patient assessment, care planning, and collaboration with physicians and interdisciplinary teams. You'll champion evidence-based practice, quality and safety initiatives, and staff development. Responsibilities Coordinate and oversee daily nursing care on the Stepdown ICULead and support RN team, delegating tasks and managing staffing needs Monitor patient status, perform assessments, and implement care plans Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams on treatment plans Ensure compliance with clinical protocols, safety standards, and documentation Provide patient and family education on conditions, treatments, and discharge plans Support orientation and ongoing training of nursing staff Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives Respond to emergencies and rapidly changing patient conditions Use EMR systems to document care accurately and timely Required Skills Stepdown/Telemetry Nursing Critical Care Nursing Patient Assessment Care Planning and Coordination Electronic Medical Records (EMR) IV Therapy and Medication Administration Cardiac Monitoring and Rhythm Interpretation Leadership and Charge Nurse Skills Clinical Documentation Patient and Family Education
