Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Manager / Qualified Medication Administration Personnel (QMAP) to lead and oversee resident care operations within a senior living or healthcare facility. This role combines leadership responsibilities with direct caregiving duties, ensuring the delivery of compassionate, compliant, and high-quality care to residents. The Manager / QMAP will coordinate staff activities, supervise medication administration, and uphold all state and federal healthcare regulations. Duties Supervise daily resident care activities, ensuring all services meet quality standards and regulatory requirements Administer medications accurately following prescribed protocols, maintaining detailed medical documentation and records Lead and support caregiving staff in providing personal care assistance, including hygiene, mobility, and nutrition support Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations by maintaining patient confidentiality at all times Monitor vital signs, and respond promptly to medical emergencies using first aid or CPR as needed Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems like ECP or Cerner for documentation of medical records, medication administration, and care notes Skills Proven experience in assisted living, nursing homes, hospitals, or home & community care settings Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, and senior care best practices Familiarity with state healthcare regulations and licensing requirements Ability to operate EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems effectively and accurately document medical information Skilled in manual handling techniques for heavy lifting and resident transfer procedures Certified in first aid, CPR, basic life support (BLS), and tube feeding procedures; additional certifications in hospice or acute care are advantageous Excellent caregiver communication skills to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams while maintaining compassionate resident interactions Knowledge of medication administration protocols including catheter care, vital signs monitoring, and managing medical devices Join us in delivering exceptional senior care through energetic leadership and compassionate service!
