As Nurse Manager, you will oversee daily nursing operations, ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care, and foster a collaborative, compliant, and efficient work environment. Responsibilities Provide leadership and supervision for nursing staff across various hospital departments, ensuring adherence to clinical policies and best practices. Oversee patient care activities, including assessments, medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and medical documentation in accordance with HIPAA and state healthcare regulations. Coordinate staffing schedules, manage resource allocation, and supervise team performance to optimize operational efficiency. Ensure compliance with nursing policies, infection control protocols, and safety standards. Facilitate staff training on EMR systems like Epic; promote continuous education on medical terminology, and advanced clinical procedures such as IV insertion, fistula access and care. Conduct regular audits of medical records and documentation accuracy. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's degree preferred. Minimum of 5 years of nursing leadership/management experience. Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Colorado Proven experience in nurse management within diverse healthcare settings such as hospital medicine, critical & intensive care units (ICU/Level I & II Trauma Centers), emergency medicine, or long-term care facilities. Extensive clinical background with critical care experience including ICU or trauma center expertise. Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems such as Epic. Demonstrated leadership skills with supervising experience managing teams in fast-paced environments. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations alongside state healthcare laws governing hospital services. Excellent communication skills for managerial communication. Relevant nursing licensure with current BLS certification; additional certifications in advanced life support or specialized clinical techniques are preferred.
