This person supports clinic staff, builds a strong team, and optimizes workflows. The Infusion Supervisor will maintain patient care and administration of IV biologic medication duties as currently assigned. Essential Job Functions--Nursing Administers IV biologic medications. Demonstrates solid knowledge of clinical skills needed for the clinical infusion area. Communicates/collaborates with infusion team members, providers and other CFG employees to facilitate patient care. Communicates professionally with patient, family and health care team. Maintains confidentiality of all information regarding patients, employees, clinic and hospital records. Consistently charts patient care notes in an accurate and timely manner. Takes personal accountability for tasks and fosters teamwork. Responsible for calculating and accurately documenting the medication inventory counts on the medication log. Maintain adequate stock levels of care related items without over stocking. Ensure all care related equipment is maintained in a serviceable and cost efficient manner and plans for replacement as needed. Demonstrated proficiency in patient cost support programs associated with biologic medications. Understand and adhere to all HIPAA regulations to maintain our patients' privacy. Requires regular, predictable attendance. Flexibility is essential for success with CFG and on occasion, our employees may be asked to complete projects and tasks that could be outside of their normal scope of duties. Essential Job Functions--Supervisory Supervise and evaluate the work of the staff and operations of the Infusion Department. Coordinate Infusion Department staff scheduling for all locations. Ensure Infusion Department compliance with regulatory standards. Complete annual employee evaluations for the Infusion Department staff. Optimize infusion chair utilization to ensure efficient patient flow, minimize wait times, and maximize department capacity. Required Competencies Uses high level organization/work management skills. Experience charting and scheduling in an EMR system Preferred Competencies and Experience 1-3 years infusion, critical care, or emergency room nursing experience Three of more years supervision of staff One or more years Epic experience Education and Certification Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing Current

Physical demands:

Sitting 85% - answering the telephone, scheduling appointments and procedures in the call center, working at the front desk, working on the computer. Climbing on step ladders to reach top shelves, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, fingering (like keyboarding, controls on a scanner, fax, etc.) Ability to speak clearly to be understood by our patients and employees. Ability to hear within normal range. Able to hear patients in an office environment. Acuity near and far. Ability to see within normal parameters, and to distinguish colors. Ability to work for extensive periods at computer keyboarding. Works in a well-lit heated/air-conditioned environment. Temperatures between 68 and 74 degrees. Work may involve exposure to communicable diseases, medicinal preparations and other conditions common to a clinic environment.
