Medical and Non-Medical Services Administration Duties:
Coordinating with the Administrator, to help develop administrative policies and practices for the Agency Consults with field staff individually or in groups, regarding patient or families to coordinate care Develops standards that ensure safe, and effective, services to clients and families Participates in orientation programs for new hires Oversees the quality of care, coordinates, with continuous Quality Improvement Committee, the timely implementation of corrective action plans and controls. Consults, with physicians, in matters relating to patient care services Assist with building the operations to reach more patients in need
Staff Duties:
Directs staff in performance of their duties Utilizes capabilities of nursing, and paraprofessional, personnel in the development of orientation and staff education programs Assesses appropriate staff supervision, during all service hours Assist with interviews and hires for personnel Keeps all personnel up to date with clinical information and practices, staff development, including orientation, in-service education, and continuing education. Works closely with the non-medical department to coordinate continuous, intensive, specialized care due to complex, or unstable conditions. Actively develops, and pursues, referral sources, as well as facilities on-going relationships with various medical and health communities. Participates in selective conferences, and workshops, to promote knowledge in community health trends, efficiency in job performance and overall professional growth. Will conduct nursing visits and admissions as needed Hours are 9:00 to 4:00 Monday - Friday Full time position Combining the skilled nursing staff with the caregivers, we are able to offer 24/7 care with Hoyer lifts, and provide skilled nursing facility care in the patients home. We service Medicare patients as well as Veterans. We do not accept Medicare Advantage Programs at this time. Our care is a full service medical agency with Therapy as well as Nursing and our hands on caregivers work around the clock to ensure the patients are safe and living as independently as possible.
