This role ensures high-quality resident care, regulatory compliance, and adherence to training and standards. In this role, the manager partners with community leadership and health services teams to support staff development, improve outcomes, and promote a safe and compassionate environment for residents.Job Responsibilities:
Oversee and support health services operations across communities within assigned region. Maintain a visible presence in the communities working alongside community nursing leadership to ensure department is operating according state, federal, and Dial regulations, policies, and procedures. Conduct routine site visits, audits, and quality assurance review. Review should include implementation/evaluation of care plans, assessments, MARs, ADL logs, and resident/team required files. Assist Executive Director with hiring and onboarding of community nursing leadership. Monitor and improve key clinical outcomes including falls, hospitalizations, level of care, and medication management. Support communities during surveys, inspections, and regulatory reviews, assisting with plan of correction as needed. Investigate and respond to clinical incidents, concerns and risk management issues, communicating promptly with Executive Director, and other pertinent home office personnel. Assist with pre-admission assessments of potential new residents, as requested. Work with team to develop and update service care plans for residents, including at risk residents. Evaluate an level of care concerns and work with community leadership to determine continued eligibility or discharge. Help community teams conduct skills fairs and other required training, as requested. Report any failure to comply with policy, procedure, or regulation to Director, Health Services, and Regional Operations Director. Assist with new community openings, transitions, and implementation of health services standards. Maintain a positive working relationship with teams at each community. Perform all responsibilities under the nursing code of ethics and the Nurse Practice Act. Other duties as assigned. Education, Experience and Other Requirements Active RN license in the state(s) of assignment 5+ years experience in progressive nursing leadership 3-5 years nurse management experience in senior living, long term care, or assisted living CPR certification Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required Proficient computer skills Strong knowledge of clinical practices, state and federal regulations pertaining to assisted living and/or memory care, and quality standards Excellent assessment, problem-solving, and communication skills Ability to organize and prioritize with good attention to detail Knowledge of HIPAA requirements Proficient in electronic health records systems Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team Ability to travel within assigned region Preferred Qualifications Previous memory care experienceSimilar jobs in Westminster, CO
