As a Registered Nursing Supervisor at Saint John Paul II, you will play a vital role in leading a team of dedicated nurses to deliver exceptional patient care. With a focus on clinical excellence and staff development, you will oversee the daily operations of the nursing department, ensuring that our patients receive the highest level of care. About the
Role:
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the nursing department , including staffing, scheduling, and workload management. Provide guidance and support to nursing staff, including orienting new hires and conducting performance evaluations. Collaborate with other departments , such as medicine and rehabilitation, to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care. Develop and implement policies and procedures to promote quality patient care and efficiency in the nursing department. Participate in quality improvement initiatives , identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient outcomes.
Requirements:
Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Connecticut. Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory role or as a charge nurse. Strong leadership and communication skills , with the ability to motivate and inspire nursing staff.
