In this role, you will oversee clinical operations, staffing, and quality, ensuring safe, high-standard patient care. You will mentor nurses, support evidence-based practice, and collaborate with physicians and administrators on process improvement. Responsibilities Oversee nursing operations across multiple Hartford Healthcare regional sites to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care Provide clinical guidance, mentoring, and performance feedback to nursing staff and charge nurses Monitor patient outcomes, safety metrics, and compliance with regulatory and organizational standards Collaborate with physicians, administrators, and interdisciplinary teams to improve workflows and care coordination Lead staffing planning, scheduling, and resource allocation to maintain adequate coverage Support onboarding, training, and ongoing professional development of nurses Implement evidence-based practices, policies, and quality improvement initiatives Address escalated patient or family concerns with professionalism and compassion Analyze regional performance data and prepare reports with action plans for leadership Promote a culture of teamwork, inclusion, and continuous improvement across assigned facilities Required Skills Nursing leadership Clinical operations management Staff scheduling and workforce planning Quality improvement methodologies Regulatory and compliance knowledge (Joint Commission, CMS) Electronic health record (EHR) systems Performance management and coaching Patient safety and risk management Data analysis and reporting Interdisciplinary team collaboration
