As a Registered Nurse Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the nursing units and ensuring the highest quality of care for our residents. Role:
As a Registered Nurse Supervisor, your responsibilities will include: Interacting with supervisory disciplines to ensure quality of care is provided within policies and parameters defined by the nursing department Administering medications, documenting resident care, and implementing schedules as needed Participating in formulating, implementing, and interpreting nursing policies and procedures Promoting and evaluating staff adherence to all Nursing and Facility policies and procedures Conducting rounds on assigned units, reviewing chart documentation, and ensuring new admissions, discharges, and transfers are accurately entered in the electronic Medical Record Ensuring that all residents receive high-quality care and services, while maintaining a positive and professional work environment
Requirements:
Must be an experienced Registered Nurse with at least 2 years of experience Current RN licensure in the state of Connecticut Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays , as needed Strong communication and leadership skills , with the ability to effectively manage and motivate staff Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
