Role:

As a Registered Nurse Supervisor at Terraces of Lake Worth Care Center, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest level of care and satisfaction for our residents. As a supervisor, you will lead a week end team of skilled nurses and staff members to provide skilled nursing care, rehabilitation services, and support to our residents.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

Supervising and mentoring a team of week end nurses and staff members to ensure effective communication, collaboration, and patient-centered care Assisting with week end operations, including scheduling, inventory management, and quality control Conducting regular assessments and evaluations of resident care, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing changes as needed Collaborating with the Interdisciplinary Care Team to develop and implement individualized care plans for each resident Maintaining accurate and detailed records of resident care, including progress notes, medication administration records, and incident reports Providing education and support to residents, families, and caregivers on various aspects of care, including medication management, wound care, and fall prevention

Requirements:

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Florida Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience in a long-term care or sub-acute medical care setting Ability to work every other weekend Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations and personalities Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion Ability to lift, move, and reposition residents as needed, with or without the use of assistive devices
