Summary:

The Charge Procedural RN responsibilities include: RN is proficient in the care of a sub-specialty group of patients utilizing effective managerial skills RN acts as a professional role model for other members of the nursing team RN is responsible for professional accountability and development according to best practice standards set forth by a nationally recognized specialty organization RN acts as a mentor and resource expert, supports and shares organizational information to all team members. RN performs the role of preceptor and charge nurse. This position requires a minimum of two years RN experience. We prefer at least 1 year of Critical Care experience as an

RN. RN PACU

experience is strongly preferred. Charge experience is preferred.

Certifications and Licensures:

BLS (Basic Life Support) RN (Registered Nurse) ACLS (Cardiovascular)

PALS Preferred Nurse Specialty Education:

Bachelor's Nursing or Bachelor's Science in related field Or Associate's Nursing or Nursing Diploma and applicable Nationally recognized, professional RN certification in related field

Experience:

Required 2 years acute care experience or 2 year Interventional/Procedural experience Preferred Experience includes 1 year Interventional/Perioperative Internship.
