A Nurse Manager manages nurses working in a clinical unit at a hospital or health care facility. Provides clinical experience as a registered nurse and supervises nurses that provide direct patient care. Creates and manages staff schedules and ensures that hospital policies and procedures are followed. Manages budget and recordkeeping for the unit.
The Nurse Manager provides clinical, operational, and administrative leadership to ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality, patient-centered care. This role is responsible for managing daily unit operations, staffing, budget performance, regulatory compliance, quality outcomes, and employee engagement. Nursing Experience & Skills:
Previous 2-3 years experience as a Nurse Manager in an observation unit and or experience working in the ED Excellent leadership and organizational skills, focused on customer service
Licensure/Certification:
Florida RN license
ACLS BLS
