AdventHealth Minneola•1800 N Hancock Rd, Minneola, FL 34715 The value you'll bring to the team: Oversees staff performance, manages staffing, hiring, orientation, and discipline, while fostering a positive and inclusive work environment. Manages budgets and resources, maintains appropriate staffing and understands healthcare finance. Leads and supports performance and quality improvement initiatives, implements evidence-based practice changes, and ensures compliance with professional standards and hospital policies. Utilizes critical thinking and technology in decision-making, problem-solving, and integrating new systems to enhance patient care and outcomes. Provides strong leadership and mentorship, ensures high-quality clinical care, supports staff development, and maintains clear communication and planning for patient care delivery. Encourages interdisciplinary collaboration and maintains positive relationships with patients, staff, vendors, and other departments to ensure patient-centered care.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Demonstrates the ability to lead Performance Improvement initiatives on their assigned unit [Required] Demonstrates the ability to Think Critically and Utilize Technology in relation to the operations of the unit and delivery of patient care [Required] Demonstrates Leadership and Clinical Practice Knowledge [Required] Demonstrates good Communication and Relationship Building skills [Required] Effective oral and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information in understandable terms to all levels of staff [Required] Ability to work in a matrix-management environment to achieve organizational goals [Required] Knowledge of broad clinical nursing [Required] Ability to develop and mentor others to their optimum levels of skill and professionalism [Required] Ability to include evidence-based practice standards for care delivery in their area of specialty [Required]
Education:
Bachelor's of Nursing [Required] Master's of Nursing [Preferred]
Work Experience:
2+ years of acute care clinical experience in a hospital setting [Required] 1+ years of management experience in a hospital setting [Required]
Licenses and Certifications:
Registered Nurse (RN) [Required] Basic Life Support•CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]

Pay Range:
